The peek for King Salmon is from June until mid-July. Silvers are fished later in the season from mid-August to September. Pinks are ready from July through August. Halibut and other bottom fish are available all season long.
Sporadic is the best word to accurately describe the weather in Southeast Alaska so please remember to dress in casual layering! It could be raining, sun shining, overcast or rather windy at times so it's best to be prepared for anything.
We will meet you on the docks directly in front of your cruise ship and this effort is coordinated with you well in advance to your arrival in Ketchikan. Our charter boat is moored just a few minutes away and we'll be off to the fishing grounds in no time!
